Looks like some of the images in ALA under the name Cirphula pyrrhocnemis, but other images look nothing like this one.

I discussed my images of a lichen mimicking grasshopper from a rocky grassland in Coonartha NR with Dave Rentz who suggested Urnisa sp.1 (page 183) but I agree there are green Cirphula also (Page197) usually found in shrubbery. The prosternal process in Cirphula is a tubercle whereas that of Urnisa is collar shaped. Many grasshopper species can be definitely told apart by the shape of this process that is rarely photographed. I've never seen a green Cirphula.

I've relooked at my pictures of the Urnisa from Coonartha and there is a slight difference in shape of the rear of the pronotum and banding on femora so Cirphula seems the better choice.
