Hi @waltraud , the Sugar Glider has been split into three species, based on DNA. In our region P. breviceps (sugar glider) is apparently found only to the east of the Great Dividing Range. The ACT ones are P. notatus (Kreffts Glider). Not distinguishable on appearance. That is the latest info I have but I expect that knowledge of the distribution of the two species (and how to distinguish them perhaps) will become more precise in future.
