It could be Nymphaea alba or a Nymphaea hybrid: either way, its an introduced, ornamental species. Location of this species (in an ornamental pond) suggests it has been deliberately planted (rather than dispersing and self-establishing) so has probably been purchased or propagated from another such cultivar.
