User's notes
Gang-gang pair (male only photographed) observed visiting nest site at 15 Fairfax St O'Connor 8;21 am . 10 m in Eucalyptus elata tree. Male perched on branch near hollow (1 m away). Hollow out of sight on other side of main trunk. Female seen leaving from hollow vicinity behind the main trunk when both birds felw away a few minutes later. Calls given were the normal GG call and not the 'extended creaking call' heard previously (see CNM Sighting No.4470051). Suggests hollow may now not be occupied by a visitor (eg. a possum).
