User's notes

I do not know whether CNM distinguishes between feral and domestic cats. This is the sighting of a domestic cat. I observe this red cat regularly around the same site at the Fair when I leave after a weeding session in the evening. Occasionally I saw this cat involved in a fight with another cat. The cat was hunting a small mammal presumably a rat - rats are attracted to this area by the rotten food that people occasionally dump in the nature reserve. The Fair residential estate has been declared a cat containment right before the first residents moved in. A cat containment sign which has been put up after many complaints about roaming cats (including by The Fair residents) has been vandalised and to my knowledge, no further action was taken to implement the cat containment rules.
