A pink erythrism grasshopper which has already lost a hind leg. Not very mobile.

I learnt a new word today. We had another erythrismic katydid the other day. Not uncommon in Orthoptera, see cover of Dave Rentz's katydid book, but not good for camouflage..

Thanks, Roger for the ID and explanation. Pink on green was not good camouflage, but I suspect it probably won't last long already having lost a hind leg.
