Black-footed katydid, Often heard but rarely seen or photographed as it's not attracted to light. A good find Stuart. A female. It seems to have lost a hind leg

Thanks for info Roger, shot was taken ten years ago whilst I was doing a model portfolio shoot at the old explosives bunker near Newline quarry. The things you see when you are not looking for them...exquisite creature! Significant?
