Paropsis are generally larger (than paropsisterna), crenulate margin of pronotum and randomly placed punctures, usually with some bumps. There is a ventral feature of the prosternal process of all Paropsis, being a fold, or a crease, formed to accommodate the placement of the feet, when the beetle is resting. https://sites.google.com/site/paropsispages/.
