My previous sighting of this species at this location have been females. I am suggestiing this is a male. On the Moths of Victoria (Part 9) supporting disc the PDF file 3/4 for this species illustrates how to tell males from females. Males have light brown forewings with a reniform mark which is a broad dark bar, slightly cirved, whereas in females the forewings are reddish brown with the dark bar on the forewing is narrow, diffuse, slightly curved and bordered by a pale strip.
