Carp air breathing in the shallows of Ginninderra Creek. 40 hours earlier there had been a sharp storm with 23mm recorded at Charnwood weather station. This created a heavy flow in the creek that was only short lived. When the creek flow subsided to the slow run shown here with the carp, water was coloured black and oxygen measured here by a Waterwatch ACT volunteer came up with just 0.1 mg/l, dangerously low.
