Return of a once common but now rare bird to Red Hill Nature Reserve

Very happy to see these little guys. First time I've seen them on Red Hill. They must have crossed over Hindmarsh Drive from Mugga. Definite count of 4. Hi Dr. Mulvaney, any idea on previous Red Hill records?

There's a 2009 record on red hill of 3 birds and 1 in Garran last year that I can find so seems like a great record. Callum Brae is the nearest place with numerous records.

Great sighting Roy - I haven't seen a varied Sitella for about 10 years on Red Hill and as Ryu says the last record is 2009, but this doesn't include the woodland bird surveys.Nevertheless a significant sighting
