User's notes

Pair attempted nesting in this hollow in late 2018, but apparently abandoned nest in December after heavy rain. They have returned several times recently and have been chewing bark around the hollow and tearing off leaves, see extensive bark chewing marks and female looking into hollow in first photo and see JennyT's sighting at same tree earlier this week. There was a single male in a nearby tree (separate sighting) and the males were calling to each other.
