User's notes

The snake was first sighted with its head and most of its body down a hole next to a tree, presumably looking for prey. It then turned most of its body upside down and backed out of the hole before moving away. This was the second red-bellied black snake seen and photographed in this area today.

Great photographs of a lean, hungry looking rbbs - keen to find a frog or lizard down in a hole. Will)
