the bizarre thing is it is on an unformed walking track, I have seen other such holes but not at this site. I had wondered previously if it was a lizard, but seeing the eggs had come out of the nest I was fairly sure.
Based on your observations and in the light of no other lizard likely to be in the frame for this size hole in this habitat I am prepared to call it Pogona
