Species assignment is definitely a guess, as the two keys to this genus I've seen go straight to microscopic features. However, this species is the one that seems commonly reported for Australia.
Visually, this seems a reasonable identification, pending a study of the Australian collections of the genus. The literature says the species is variable and I've seen it mostly with just a splayed out apex, not so cup-like as that in the photo.
