User's notes

An edible species. The tuber, flowers and stem can be eaten. A self-sown, wild plant found growing in my garden at 15 Fairfax St. O'Connor.

The flowers open each morning, the anthers dehisce and release their pollen are pollinated and then close. The flowers are closed by late afternoon.
