@entom2 Hi Allen, could this one be in Genus Ryssonotus (or Tribe Chiasognathini)? ALA has a couple of photos of Ryssonotus nebulosus which have matte pink wings rather than brown or mottled brown/black.

This is a very useful record, well done. Tree skinks have been observed at Ginninderra Falls (in NSW) just upstream from the Murrumbidgee R, but as far as I am aware there are no other records from the Canberra to Yass region. The nearest records are from further west around Gundagai, Wagga Wagga etc.
