The strange thing about this series of images is that in all of them the wings are held out in a way that is unusual in bees. Because the resolution is not good enough for us to tell whether there is one or two pairs of wings, I think we should keep open the possibility that it is a fly.

Having looked at a lot of aculeata and longifolia over the last 2 weeks in Tallaganda NP I would say this is longifolia. Leaf length in longifolia can be variable
